Solar Energy Industries Association to Combine with Coalition for Community Solar Access, Strengthening Advocacy for Entire Solar and Storage Industry Across the Country
WASHINGTON D.C. — The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Coalition for Community Solar Access (CCSA) today announced that the two organizations will combine following approval from each organization’s Boards of Directors. Effective in early October, CCSA will integrate its team, resources, and policy work within SEIA. The two organizations both have successful individual histories of driving growth for segments of the industry. SEIA is the largest national trade association for the solar and storage industry and has a longstanding track record, with its founding in 1974, of spurring growth across the industry, including utility-scale, commercial, and residential segments. CCSA has operated as the national trade association for community solar and storage developers, businesses, and nonprofits, and has driven the rapid acceleration of the market over the last decade.
